My friend Debra and I saw you perform on the evening of August 4th in Syosset, NY at the park. We were so moved and elated by your wonderful performance. When you started to sing Glory, glory Hallelujah, I got chills down my back and was moved to tears. I hope that you remember me. I was the fella in a white baseball cap, glasses and shorts. You might recall that Debra and I wanted to take you out to a diner that night. I bought one of your pictures for her, because she was too shy to approach you.

  Linda - I just read in Rick's Guestbook that you are in the hospital with health problems. I just wanted to let you know that my prayers, love and thoughts are with you. I pray that God touches you with His healing blood and that you are released from the hospital soon. I miss you and think about you all of the time. You are always in my prayers day and night. Hope you are well enough to attend Rick's August show at Ft. Mill. I was hoping to see you again, but if not, stay at home and rest. Remember I am always praying for you.  I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the show last night at the Paramount Theater in Burlington, NC. It was especially meaningful to me b/c Rick not only dedicated "Poke Salad Annie" to my son who is recovering from major surgery and undergoing chemo-therapy, but invited he and his wife on stage to dance during a dedication of "Love Me Tender". After meeting and speaking with Rick's wife,there is no doubt that they are a remarkable family who care deeply for their fans. I first attended Rick's show at Myrtle Beach, SC a few years ago and was in awe of his amazing talent (By far the BEST Elvis performer I have ever had the honor to hear). I was thrilled to attend your show locally and indebted to you for making it a very SPECIAL night for my son! We definitely hope to see you next time you're in Burlington (maybe at the Cutting Board in October). I wish you and your band -- who are also AMAZING -- safe travel always!! Sorry, I haven't seen you since March at City Cafe. It's been a crazy summer for the Mt. Holly group with all kinds of health issues and family issues. But, we will see you soon at El Maguey's and City Cafe. I'm so glad you will be back in the Carolina's.

I was watching "Memphis Heat" on Tuesday and in it is a cop who is infatuated with Elvis. He performs and sings Elvis songs. He sang "Poke Sally Annie" on the last show and I thought of you. You should think about putting that song in your shows. You could make it rock and the fans would love it! (Food for thought) but, I'd look to hear you sign it.
